About our Presenters:

Dr. Patrick McElwaine is an Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology at Holy Family University, a faculty member at the Beck Institute, and sits on the Board of Directors of NAMI Bucks County PA. Dr. McElwaine has over 20 years clinical experience in various settings. Dr. McElwaine is a member of multiple professional psychology organizations and he serves on the Montgomery County Drug and Alcohol Advisory Council. At settings including the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), various school and hospital organizations, Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA) and the Lilly Conference, he has conducted numerous presentations related to mental health, addiction, stigma, and pedagogy.

Nicholas Emeigh is the Director of Outreach and Development for NAMI Bucks County PA, and has 4 years of continuous recovery from substance use, mental illness, and is a survivor of 3 suicide attempts. At NAMI, Nick uses his professional and lived experience to oversee marketing, events, peer recovery programs, and community engagement. Nick also sits on several boards and committees including the Bucks County Mental Health and Developmental Programs Advisory Board, and speaks on his lived experience and recovery throughout the tri-state area.
