NAMI CAN (Child and Adolescent Network) is a group that provides support, education and resources for parents, caregivers and other adult supporters of all youth who have experience with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, substance use, foster care or juvenile justice issues.
Having a child with a mental health condition can be a challenge, but there are ways to help make things easier. Each year, 1 in 5 kids aged 13-18 experiences a mental health condition. This means many parents have faced similar challenges and experiences as you.
While it is your responsibility to care for and support your child, it is also your responsibility to take care of yourself. NAMI CAN meetings are just for you and they’re free of charge.
NAMI CAN Support Group meets each month, and meetings will be scheduled concurrently with MY LIFE Bucks County meetings. We will share our experience, resources and ideas. Meetings will be held at the Abington Memorial Health Center, Warminster Campus – 225 Newtown Rd, Warminster, PA from 5:30 – 7:15pm.
