NAMI Parent Support Group
All NAMI Support Groups Are Now Online
You can find the full group schedule on the online support page.
The NAMI Parent Support Group is a group that provides support, education, and resources for parents, caregivers and other adult supporters of all youth who have experience with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, substance use, foster care or juvenile justice issues.
Having a child with a mental health condition can be a challenge, but there are ways to help make things easier. Each year, 1 in 5 kids aged 13-18 experiences a mental health condition. This means many parents have faced similar challenges and experiences as you.
While it is your responsibility to care for and support your child, it is also your responsibility to take care of yourself. Parent Support Group meetings are just for you and they’re free of charge.
NAMI Parent Support Group meetings will be held concurrently with NAMI Youth Support Group meetings. We will share our experience, resources and ideas. Meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:00-7:30pm at the NAMI Office in Warrington.
