NAMI Bucks County Forum
The NAMI Bucks County Forum meets on the third Thursday of the following months: September, November, February, April and June. Each forum will feature a speaker on various topics that are of interest to our members. These forums are free of charge, do not require registration, and are open to the general public as well as our members.
NAMI Bucks County Connection
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for adults living with mental illness. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators who’ve been there.
NAMI Bucks County Family Support Group
NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.
MY LIFE gives youth an opportunity use their experience, talents and voice to make positive changes in their lives while helping others to do the same. Regular meetings are the foundation of the MY LIFE model, providing opportunities for youth to come together to create a community of support, plan activities and initiatives, practice social skills, learn from presenters and provide peer mentoring.
NAMI CAN (Child and Adolescent Network) is a group that provides support, education and resources for parents, caregivers and other adult supporters of all youth and those who have experience with mental health, developmental disabilities, substance abuse, foster care or juvenile justice issues. Meetings will be scheduled concurrently with the My Life Bucks meetings.
Online and Telephone Support
Online and Telephone Support Groups can also be valuable sources of support. This is a listing of organizations that offer online support in the form of chat rooms, forums, online meetings and phone-in support groups and meetings.
