For the month of September, NAMI Bucks County, PA welcomes Christyne M. Siliverdis. She offers her life story through 1Woman’s H.O.P.E. to those looking for H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Practice Empathy) so they may see that negative experiences do not define us. These negative experiences are not our last chapter, they are merely one chapter. She encourages her audiences to cultivate their strengths from positive and negative experiences to act as their library card for a lifetime of new stories.

1Woman’s H.O.P.E. offers empowerment and resiliency from trauma, emotional, physical and sexual assault, PTSD, survivors of crime and the stigma of mental illness. This program focuses on the need for empathy toward one’s self and others to process life’s negative impacts and to cultivate the strengths within to act as natural defenses toward future negative experiences.

  • Feeling helpless from your past is not acceptable when there is an alternative
  • Feeling alone is not acceptable when there is an alternative
  • Feeling like you are the only one with your condition or circumstances is not acceptable when there is an alternative

Let 1Woman’s H.O.P.E. be the alternative today.
