Parent Support Group
October 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until October 31, 2020
The NAMI Parent Support Group is a group that provides support, education, and resources for parents, caregivers and other adult supporters of all youth who have experience with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, substance use, foster care or juvenile justice issues.
Having a child with a mental health condition can be a challenge, but there are ways to help make things easier. Each year, 1 in 5 kids aged 12-17 experiences a mental health condition. This means many parents have faced similar challenges and experiences as you.
While it is your responsibility to care for and support your child, it is also your responsibility to take care of yourself. Parent Support Group meetings are just for you and they’re free of charge.
Thursdays (except 10/15), from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
