Resources for Students & Teachers

Our goal with this page is to add resources that young adults (and perhaps regular adults, too) will actually use – whether the need is for therapy, counseling, addiction, sleep, suicide prevention, etc.  Digital resources – apps and websites mainly – that are easy to use and oftentimes anonymous.  We don’t need to know your name, the goal is to get help to those who need it.

All descriptions of any resource listed below will be taken directly from the app or website whenever possible.  We feel it’s important to deliver the author/creator’s intended message and purpose.  We hope you find these links useful.  Always remember: suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Crisis Text Line is free, 24/7 support for those in crisis. Text 741741 from anywhere in the US to text with a trained Crisis Counselor. Crisis Text Line trains volunteers to support people in crisis. With over 54 million messages processed to date, we’re growing quickly, but so is the need.

Bullying Prevention

The Pennsylvania Bullying Prevention Consultation Line is a toll free number available to school staff, students, and parents across the commonwealth.  This line offers discussion of effective strategies and resources available to deal with school-based bullying.  Messages can be left 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be returned Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
