Nicholas Emeigh, Outreach and Development
Nicholas Emeigh is a published poet and web designer who lives and works in Bucks County, PA. He attended Harry S Truman High School and Emerson College. Having had plenty of experience with mental health and addiction as an adolescent and young adult, Nick joined NAMI Bucks County’s Ending the Silence team as a speaker in 2017. He is passionate about sharing his story and works as a NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group facilitator to ensure that those with shared experiences do not feel the shame and stigma he experienced.
Nick took on the role of Outreach and Development Director to ensure that the look and feel of NAMI Bucks County, PA reflects our mission of building better lives for those affected by mental illness, and to ensure that everyone in our community knows the NAMI name is synonymous with help and hope. He will work to broaden our reach on the internet, through community events, speaking engagements, and new/expanded programs. He serves on several committees including the Youth Suicide Prevention Taskforce, Suicide Prevention Taskforce, Young Adult Advisory Board, Transition Age Youth and Young Adult Workgroup, and the Friends MATTer Board.
