Grace Deon, Board Member
Grace Deon has been a resident of Bucks County for forty-two years, and has actively participated as a board member and fundraiser for numerous non-profit agencies throughout Bucks County. Grace is a shareholder and member of the management committee of the law firm Eastburn and Gray, PC located in Doylestown. Grace specializes in employment, commercial and special education litigation. Her practice includes representation of school districts where she is required to advise on a variety of mental health/special education related issues. She also represents several clients that operate programs specializing in mental health, drug/alcohol addiction, and treatment (which often has mental health co-morbidity).
Grace also represents employers accommodating individuals with mental illness in the workplace who require accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) in order to access the workplace. It is her hope that educating the public and those affected will significantly reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Grace is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (“PBA”) and the Bucks County Bar Association (“BCBA”). She recently served as Past President of the BCBA Board of Directors having served as President during 2016.
Grace received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University, with a minor in Philosophy, and her Juris Doctor from the Temple University School of Law, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
