Debbie Moritz, Executive Director
Debbie Moritz has been employed as the NAMI Bucks County Executive Director since 2004, and is a Certified Parent Support Partner (CPSP). She is a trained Basics instructor, Family Support Group facilitator, and has facilitated the NAMI-CAN (Child and Adolescent Network) support group for 18 years. She launched the NAMI Ending the Silence early-intervention mental health education program for Bucks County middle and high school students in 2013.
Debbie has faithfully answered the NAMI Bucks County Helpline since 2004 before its current iteration as 1-866-399-NAMI. She still takes calls from her home or on vacation when necessary, and helped to build the Helpline into an invaluable resource. Debbie serves as program manager for most NAMI Signature Programs, and ensures that support groups and classes run smoothly and are conveniently available
She studied Business Administration and Accounting at Pasco Hernando Community College, Bucks County Community College and Temple University. She is the parent of two adult children living with a mental illness diagnosed in childhood. She is a married mother of three, and when she has free time, enjoys camping and all things Disney.
